Updating your IRS Legal Name and/or FEIN Number

If your Legal Name and/or FEIN number do not match IRS records, you may be liable to withheld funds that are paid to the IRS, and updating your information is a top priority.  

Your IRS Legal name and/or FEIN number can also be updated by contacting your service manager, but the below process may be the most efficient and timely way to complete this.   

Steps to Update Your IRS Legal Name and/or FEIN Number

1. Please contact your single point-of-contact service manager if you do not have your Communication ID that is needed to make this update online.

2. Please visit https://taxcs.myclientline.net/, enter this Communication ID, and follow the prompts to complete the update process.
